It's surprising what you find out about small villages and towns in Australia when you take the time to look. Helidon is no exception. In fact, Helidon is a gem. The Indigenous name for the Helidon location is "Yabarba".
Helidon is the source of one of the world's most mineral rich spa waters, the world's most dense and sought after sandstone, the host township for the inaugural RockStock Festival, the Celtic Festival of Queensland (now in it's 5th year), the annual Jazz Festival and good old fashion 'get dressed up' Gala and Masquerade Balls.
